Important For All Clients
Our mission is "Spreading Beauty, Wholeheartedly." We believe in treating every customer with utmost sincerity and hope that clients maintain realistic expectations regarding semi-permanent makeup. While we strive to provide high-quality services, individual skin healing processes, daily habits, and various other factors can affect the final results. Therefore, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Clients may require additional sessions to achieve their desired results, and the cost of these additional sessions will be borne by the clients. To ensure the treated area heals properly and achieves the best results, we have carefully prepared comprehensive guidelines. It is crucial for clients to follow all pre-appointment restrictions and post-care instructions.
-
Adhering to pre-appointment restrictions helps minimize bleeding during the procedure and reduces skin sensitivity. Excessive bleeding can dilute the pigment and affect the final outcome.
-
Following post-care instructions is essential to ensure the skin heals properly and to prevent infections, inflammation, and other complications that could affect the final results.
We sincerely hope that every client understands and follows these guidelines to achieve the best possible service outcomes.

/ Frequently Ask Questions
We have answers for all your microblading and permanent makeup questions. If you don't see it here, contact us and we'll answer you within the next business day.
What is semi-permanent make up (SPMU)?
Semi-permanent makeup, also known as SPMU, is a cosmetic procedure where pigment is meticulously implanted into the upper layer of the skin to enhance features such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. Unlike traditional tattoos, SPMU gradually fades over time due to factors like skin regeneration and sun exposure. SPMU not only simplifies daily makeup routines but also ensures a naturally beautiful appearance even without makeup.
What are the different techniques for eyebrow SPMU?
Our semi-permanent makeup services specialize in eyebrow enhancements, using both widely-used and the latest advanced techniques. Each method provides a unique visual effect to cater to individual preferences and desired results. Choosing the right technique depends on your aesthetic goals, skin type, and the condition of your natural eyebrows. Here are our semi-permanent eyebrow techniques and their effects:
On Fleek Brows (Nano Brows):
The latest in hyper-realistic artistry, this technique creates fine, precise lines of varying thicknesses. The visual effect is more realistic and flexible than real brow hairs. We tailor the perfect, smooth hair strokes to match your preferred style.
Eyebrow Reshape and Color Correction (E.R.C.C.):
This exclusive service adjusts and corrects existing brows that have discolored, faded unevenly, undertone, or have leftover pigment. It restores a harmonious color to your brows. Combined with Pico laser treatment, it can also reshape unsatisfactory brow shapes, helping you achieve the look you desire with renewed confidence.
Microblading:
This manual technique involves creating fine, precise strokes that blend seamlessly with your natural brows, giving a very natural appearance. It mimics the look of naturally full and distinct eyebrows.
Mist Ombre Brows:
This technique provides the effect of powdered or pencil-filled brows, giving you a polished and photogenic look. The sophisticated gradient effect can range from a soft, subtle look to a bold, dramatic one.
Combo Brows:
Combining microblading with mist ombre techniques, this method creates a fuller, more defined brow, perfect for those with uneven or sparse brow hairs.
How long can SPMU last? How often will I need to touch up?
After the initial touch-up, it generally lasts around two years. The pigment will gradually fade over time depending on your skin's metabolism rate. As it fades, you can choose to have a touch-up based on your personal aesthetic preferences. Generally, we recommend a paid touch-up once a year.
-
If the desired result is achieved after the first procedure, we recommend a touch-up in the fifth or sixth month to make the results last longer.
-
If the ideal result is not achieved after the first procedure, we suggest a touch-up two months later to make the shape and color more stable and long-lasting.
-
In the future, if the client wants to maintain the same technique and shape, it is necessary to ensure a paid touch-up before the color and shape completely fade.
-
In the future, if the client wants to switch to another technique, it will be necessary to assess the current fading level to determine if it is suitable to proceed with the new technique or to use other methods.
If you are unsure whether a touch-up is needed, you always can send us clear photos for professional advice.
Does it hurt?
Before starting the procedure, we will perform thorough hygiene care and apply soothing preparations to your skin to ensure comfort throughout the process. The level of discomfort experienced can vary based on individual pain tolerance, the technique used, and the sensitivity of the treated area. Everyone’s pain perception is different, and some individuals may experience discomfort. However, in most cases, following our soothing preparations, clients do not feel pain. If you experience any discomfort during the procedure, please inform our technician immediately. We will provide additional soothing measures to ensure your comfort is maintained.
How long is the appointment?
The duration of a SPMU appointment can vary depending on several factors, including the specific procedure being performed, the complexity of the work, and the individual client's needs. An initial consultation for semi-permanent makeup typically lasts 30 minutes to an hour, while the procedure appointment varies depending on the specific treatment—ranging from 3 to 5 hours, and follow-up appointments for touch-ups or adjustments may last 2 to 3 hours each.
How long does it take to heal? Is there downtime?
After undergoing a semi-permanent makeup procedure, there is a brief recovery period to consider.
-
Semi-Permanent Eyebrows: After the procedure, the shape of the eyebrows may undergo minor changes within the first few days. The color will initially appear darker, with minimal scabbing. Typically, the scabs will fall off within 5-7 days. For On Fleek Brows, there is generally no recovery period, and the aforementioned symptoms are unlikely to occur.
-
Semi-Permanent Eyeliner: Within 2-3 days after the procedure, individuals with sensitive eyes may experience eyelid swelling, redness, itching, and sensitivity. These symptoms usually subside within 2-4 days.
As skin types vary from person to person, the required aftercare may differ slightly. It is crucial to adhere to the personalized post-procedure care instructions we provide to ensure optimal results.
What is the aftercare?
Stay out of the sweating activities while your heals. Avoid chlorine, exfoliation creams, certain skincare, cosmetics, and sun exposure; they may cause your color to fade. We recommend applying a small amount of A&D ointment as guided by our SPMU technician. Read more about aftercare here.
Who is ineligible for SPMU?
-
Individuals with conditions such as psoriasis, folliculitis, nodules, hemangiomas, sebaceous cysts, seborrheic dermatitis, or atopic dermatitis in the treatment area should undergo treatment and ensure complete healing before proceeding with SPMU to avoid adverse effects such as exacerbated allergies or inflammation.
-
Although the correct application technique does not cause skin bleeding, individuals with blood disorders (such as hemophilia, thrombocytopenia), poor coagulation, heart disease, or diabetes must disclose their medical conditions to us. It is essential to follow our pre-appointment restrictions to ensure our technicians can choose the appropriate tools and techniques based on your specific condition.
-
Individuals with infectious diseases must inform us to ensure our technicians take extra precautions to maintain safety and hygiene for both parties.
-
Those taking anticoagulants, blood thinners, isotretinoin (Accutane), or steroids should temporarily discontinue their use three days before the appointment and can resume normal usage after the procedure.
-
Extreme perfectionists are advised against undergoing SPMU. Individuals with congenital or acquired ptosis, or significantly asymmetrical eyebrows, may find it difficult to achieve satisfactory results due to design discrepancies, potentially leading to severe dissatisfaction.
-
People with psychiatric or neurological disorders, those with unrealistic expectations, or those who demand excessively high standards may also be unsuitable candidates. It is important to understand that no one has perfectly symmetrical eyes, eyebrow ridges, or facial bones. Even natural eyebrows have slight differences. Absolute symmetry is rarely achievable with semi-permanent makeup; the goal is to achieve a balanced and pleasing appearance. If you are someone who demands absolute perfection, it is recommended that you reconsider undergoing SPMU.
Can Individuals with Keloid-Prone Skin Undergo SPMU?
Individuals with severe keloid-prone skin may face challenges with semi-permanent makeup procedures due to their compromised healing mechanisms. Even minor wounds may fail to heal properly, leading to excessive scar tissue formation. Keloids tend to develop in wounds that penetrate the dermal layer, with the overgrowth of cells causing the condition, influenced by individual healing processes.
SPMU when performed correctly, involves precisely implanting pigments between the stratum spinosum and the basal layer of the epidermis. This technique avoids breaking the skin or causing bleeding, thereby preventing the formation of scars and keloids during the healing process.
We place great emphasis on evaluating our clients' skin conditions to ensure the procedure is performed smoothly. To facilitate the best healing process and achieve optimal results, we provide detailed pre-appointment guidelines. It is essential to follow the instructions we provide to ensure a successful outcome.
Can I remove or correct eyebrow SPMU?
To correct the eyebrow shape and/or tone, yes we can if the existing tattooed eyebrow has faded considerably. You will have to pick one of our signature service, Eyebrow Reshape and Color Correction (E.R.C.C.). While eyebrow SPMU is designed to be long-lasting, it is possible to remove the pigment using techniques such as laser removal.
Is eyebrow SPMU safe?
When performed by our trained and certified technician in a sanitary environment, eyebrow SPMU is generally safe. It's important to ensure that the technician follows proper safety and hygiene protocols and uses high-quality pigments and equipment.
What results can I expect?
Believe it! This treatment transforms people's lives! You can expect a totally refreshed and youthful appearance! Great brows will lift and frame your eyes in a way no make-up can. You can also expect to shave time off your morning routine – no more drawing in those brows!
How do I choose eyebrow SPMU technician?
To find a qualified eyebrow SPMU technician, research reputable professionals in your area and read reviews from past clients. Look for technicians who are certified, experienced, and prioritize safety and client satisfaction.
