The Journey
Our Story
2007-2013
Early Beginnings
Kelly Chong, the founder of Thirteen Twelve Fabuleux, began her journey in the beauty industry as a beauty therapist in 2007. Over the next seven years, she transitioned into commercial makeup artist, honing her skills and exploring various aspects of the industry. These formative years provided Kelly with invaluable experience and laid the groundwork for her specialization in semi-permanent makeup techniques.
2014 - present
Specialization in Semi Permanent Makeup at a limited space
In 2014, Kelly found her niche in semi-permanent makeup, specifically focusing on eyebrow enhancement techniques. Since then, she has become a leading expert in eyebrow microblading, microshading, and combo techniques, catering to a diverse clientele and earning widespread acclaim for her exceptional work. Meanwhile, she never gives up to enhance and strengthen her skills, techniques, and aesthetics from the World Champion Master Stylist - Mr. Elvin Soh.
2016
Kelly's superb works attracted students to apprenticeship
Kelly moved her workshop to a slightly larger space. She has also started to provide one on one and small group courses to the students who wish to become a semi-permanent makeup artist.
2017
International Recognition
In the contest with a thousand participants, Kelly's talent and dedication were recognized on an international level when she clinched 1st place at the K-Beauty Olympic in Bangkok, Thailand, in July 2017.
2019
Continued Success
Kelly qualified as a judge at the K-Beauty Olympic in Malaysia and guided her students to victory, securing 1st place and gold medals. She also joined The Global Professional Artist Federation as a regular member to support the development of worldwide beauty.
2020
Leadership Role
Kelly's leadership and dedication were once again recognized as she was re-elected as Vice President of GPF Korea - K-Beauty World Contest, further solidifying her influence and contribution to the beauty industry.

Recognition
Fast forward to 2023, Kelly's journey reached new heights as she was honored to be recognized as one of the successful individuals in Malaysia. This prestigious recognition was a testament to Kelly's unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to the beauty industry. Her remarkable achievements led to an exclusive interview with British Pedia, where she shared her insights and experiences in the beauty world, inspiring aspiring beauty professionals worldwide.

Milestone
Kelly was humbled to serve as the only Chief Global Jury from Malaysia, a significant milestone that underscored her expertise and leadership in the industry. However, amidst her professional accomplishments, Kelly found even greater joy in celebrating the achievements of her students. Her students had been diligently preparing for a prestigious competition, and their hard work paid off as two of them secured a coveted spot in the top 50. Notably, senior artists Joan and May excelled further, making it into the top 20 among thousands of contestants.

After ten years of perfecting our craft, Kelly and team are delighted to announce the opening of new shop. This exciting development marks a major milestone in our journey, showcasing our growth and ongoing commitment to top-notch service. We have expanded our team with new talent and are now offering a broader range of services beyond PMU. We look forward to welcoming clients to this new space and setting new standards in the beauty industry.
